Hi! Just wanted to add this update to let you know that there will not be a raindate at the Philadelphia Carnivale of the Dogs sponsored by Commerce Bank. The date is Saturday, September 8th from 10 am - 2 pm at Rittenhouse Square Park. In a prior posting I had mentioned a raindate, so cross that off your calendar because the wonderful Carnivale of the Dogs is going on rain or shine! Of course, there will be tents set up so that you won't get wet! And you won't want to miss seeing me as the Paw Reader, fully dressed in gypsy gear.
They have lots of wonderful activities for dogs, i.e. fashion show/costume contest, photos, etc.
Love, Light & Miracles,
Cynthia

Hello,
I had a wonderful audition for the part of the Morning Hostess on THE ONION NEWS NETWORK. It was a lot of fun. Check out their website at: http://www.theonion. It is a spoof website with irreverent, satirical information being portrayed as though it is actual news. I enjoyed the audition process very much!
An update on the New York Film Academy project I worked on a couple of months ago - THE NEW YORK STRANGLER - directed by Viceroy Andrews. It is going to be screened in Los Angeles at the end of September.
SOLIDARITY, an independent film that I helped cast (in an assistant capacity) is making the film festival circuit quite steadily and has won two awards already:
WINNER Heart of Gold International Film Festival 2006, MAYOR'S AWARD
WINNER Park City Film Music Festival 2007, GOLD MEDAL FOR EXCELLENCE.
Nancy Kiang is the director. The website is http://www.earthpins.com/Solidarity.
Upcoming film festivals for SOLIDARITY:
Hermosa Shorts Film Festival, August 10-12, 2007, Hermosa Beach, California.
http://www.hermosashorts.com
"Solidarity" screens on Friday, August 10 at 7:45 pm.
Boulder Asian Film Festival, August 17-19, 2007, Boulder, Colorado.

Yea for SOLIDARITY and Nancy Kiang!

Hello,
Went to the screening of THE NEW YORK STRANGLER on Saturday. That is the New York Film Academy film I worked on recently. Thought it was excellent - very scary and a lot of fun! I screamed three times (and I had read the script)! I appear at the beginning and end of the film (I am the lone survivor of the strangler). The rest of the cast are at a party where one by one they die. They did a superb job! Viceroy Andrews was a fabulous director - very kind, hard-working and fun to hang with!
Out of my last five auditions I have booked three jobs and gotten a call-back for another so I am appreciating the positive energy surrounding my career right now! It is a blast!
Love, Light & Miracles,
Cynthia
