I have been cast in the role of 'Susan' in the SAG Low Budget independent feature film THE SUNSET SKY! Will be filming this weekend! It is an excellent script and a wonderful role so I am really looking forward to it.
Here is the link to the trailer:

Yesterday had a print go-see for Getty Images - Stock Photography representing Family Lifestyles.
Auditioned for the latest Turtle Shell Productions show and have a call-back later this week.

I was offered a role in the indie feature THE SUNSET SKY, but unfortunately it went from being a SAG film to a non-union project, so I am no longer involved. I am sure it is going to be a knockout production. Check out the trailer on YOUTUBE:

That is the trailer for the student film production that won many awards.
I am saddened by the fact that I cannot work on this film and wish them the best of luck.
I received a call-back for the play WOODHULL, which is part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
Next up - auditions for Turtle Shell's new set of one-acts. Those auditions will happen within the next week.
Have a beautiful day.

Hello ~
Have been very picky about what projects I am choosing to audition for - being very selective.
Tomorrow night I have a call-back for an indie film THE SUNSET SKY and am excited about that. Auditioned for them a few weeks ago and just found out about the call-back yesterday.
Next week have an audition for a New York International Fringe Festival entry and an audition for the new Turtle Shell production (one-acts with topics related to the 21st Century). I read five of the one-acts yesterday and they are spectacular. Five more are in the process of being selected.
So - fun things are happening!!!

I just completed work in the 8 MINUTE MADNESS PLAYWRIGHT FESTIVAL, produced by Turtle Shell Productions (my new theater company). As I mentioned earlier, I was in two of the short plays in the festival - PEELERS and WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND. WHAT's ON YOUR MIND went into the finals of the festival. Being a part of this festival was a wonderfully enriching experience for me. I am thrilled to be a member of the Terrapin Troupe of Turtle Shell Productions.
I am excited to see what other wonderful experiences are in store for me ~ both within the company and with outside projects! So far 2008 has been a wondrous year for me!

Hello,
As a new member of the Terrapin Troupe of Turtle Shell Productions, a wonderful theatre company located in the heart of Times Square, I am happy to announce that I have been cast in two of the short plays featured in their 5th Annual 8 MINUTE MADNESS PLAYWRIGHT FESTIVAL. Turtle Shell Productions is located at 43rd and 8th Avenue, on the 9th Floor of the Times Square Arts Center. The Artistic Director of Turtle Shell Productions is John W. Cooper.
There are three groups of plays - A, B and C, totalling 27 plays! Each Group has nine plays. Each play is 8 minutes long. You will see all nine plays at each performance. Each Group has a separate performance time and date from the other Groups. Each Group has ten performance times/dates.
I am performing in two plays in Group B - PEELERS by Rich Espey and WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND by David Fox. As of right now (unless the line-up changes), PEELERS is third in the evening and WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND is sixth.
There is very little time inbetween shows so that it is recommended that you plan on attending all of the plays in the Group. The running time (including a 10 minute intermission) is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
You will be able to vote for your favorite shows of the evening and help them move into the finals! The 4 plays from each Group (A B & C) that receive the most votes will be moved to the finals ~ for a total of 12 plays in the finals. Since each Group has ten performances, the votes will be an accumulation of votes from all ten performances.
The semi-finals are from Tuesday, February 26 through Saturday, March 8. The following week - Wednesday, March 12 through Saturday, March 15 are the finals.
You and a group of agents will review the final 12 plays in the finals!
Sunday night, March 16 ~ 6 pm ~ is our Awards and Gala Event.
My Group (B) has the following performance times/dates:
(1) Tuesday, February 26th ~ 9:30 pm
(2) Wednesday, February 27th ~ 7:00 pm
(3) Friday, February 29th ~ 7:00 pm
(4) Saturday, March 1 ~ 3:30 pm
(5) Sunday, March 2 ~ 1:00 pm
(6) Sunday, March 2 ~ 9:30 pm
(7) Wednesday, March 5 ~ 7:00 pm
(8) Thursday, March 6 ~ 9:30 pm
(9) Friday, March 7 ~ 9:30 pm
(10) Saturday, March 8 ~ 7:00 pm
All industry people will be admitted free of charge, upon showing their business card. It is suggested that you call ahead of time and reserve your space so that you can receive a packet of information about the performers.
If you want to email me, I will arrange for you to be put on the industry admission list, or you can call 646-765-7670.
For non-industry people, the price of admission is $18.00. There is a special package (subscription package) for $30.00 which allows you to see 4 shows: one ticket for each of the three performances (Group A, B and C0 plus one ticket for one of the finales.
Separate tickets will be sold for the March 16th Gala.
Equity (AEA) cards will most likely not be honored, since it is expected that all seats will be taken. Keep in mind that industry people will be reserving a lot of the seats and company members will be watching each other's performances.
It is recommended that you purchase your tickets, or reserve your industry seating, sooner rather than later.
I am including two links for your review:
